HeartCode PALS is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program.

Once students complete the online self-directed course, they must complete a 4 hour hands on skills practicum in the simulation lab. Online course completion is required prior to attending class.  Students will not be granted admission if course is incomplete.

Online Modules will be made available as soon as a Life Support administrator is able to complete the request. Requests are typically handled Monday-Friday 0730-1530. 

• DH staff/travelers are required to use their DH email to register for Life Support classes. New hires who have not yet been issued a DH email, please include your start date and hiring manager’s name in the registration under “Comments/Special Requests”.
• Geisel School of Medicine students are required to use their Geisel email.

*Please note, attending an PALS class does not also certify staff in BLS. Please refer to Policy 9905 for clarification.

*Student manuals may be loaned out from the Matthew Fuller Library on the fifth floor of the main campus.

The registration fees are as follows:

• Dartmouth-Hitchcock Employees: No Charge
• NEAH Hospital Employees and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Affiliates: $165
